Badenoch Heritage Winter Talk – 10 November 2021

We are holding the first in our series of free 2021/22 winter talks with a Zoom presentation by Shelagh Macpherson Noble at 7pm on Wednesday 10 November.  Shelagh will tell the life story of her great grand uncle, Alexander Macpherson who was born in Newtonmore.  He joined the 1855 Australian gold rush, became saddler on the ill-fated Burke & Wills Exploration Expedition across Australia, was one of the few survivors, and spent the last years of his life as a gold digger in New Zealand. You can book a place by emailing badenochheritage@gmail.com.
