We are pleased to announce that Caroline Sterritt has been appointed as Project Officer for the Badenoch Great Place Project, and she started work on 30 March – a challenging time to start any new job.

She has begun getting up to speed with the huge amount of work already completed or underway with the project. She has started to develop the next lines of activity, so the project team can hit the ground running, once restrictions on movement and gathering are relaxed.

Caroline Sterritt

Originally from Shropshire, Caroline has lived in Badenoch with her husband for over 40 years bringing up their 4 children in Kingussie. She has more than 20 years’ experience of working as a project development officer in the area, developing a wide variety of projects to benefit the local communities.

Caroline has been very fortunate that her working life has reflected her own personal passions: initially as a Sports Development Officer for Highland Council and in the last 10 years as a Development Officer for Fèis Spè, providing access for local children and young people to tuition and performance opportunities in traditional music and the Gaelic language.

In these different roles she has developed considerable experience of project planning, management and delivery as well as partnership working.
